Details "Speak Up, Speak Out: The CMU Student Forum" creates a space for conversations about social and political issues that make a difference to students’ lives. Each forum begins with a short video introduction to the issues, followed by a panel discussion led by students, faculty and staff. Audience members are encouraged to participate in the discussion. Panelists include: Hayley Alderman, College Democrat;
Ted Clayton, CMU Department of Political Science; Casey Kreiner, College Republican; Andrea LaFontaine, Republican State Representative MI-32nd district; Chad Livengood, Capitol Reporter, Detroit News; Nancy Quarles, Oakland County Commissioner and First Vice Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party, Fixed-term Faculty, CMU Department of Political Science.
