The Price of Union: A Young Michigan in the Civil War

Details “The Price of Union: A Young Michigan in the Civil War” is a faculty-led student exhibit of the Museum Studies Program that tells the story of America’s greatest domestic war. The exhibit features recently conserved Civil War artifacts including a flag from the 5th Ohio Volunteer Cavalry and an 1861 one-room school map of the United States. The exhibit will be open at the Bohannon School House on the campus of Central Michigan University Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon from April 26 through July 12. Admission is free and open to the public. Reservations for weekday school tours may be made by calling the Museum of Cultural and Natural History at 989-774-3829.
