The Launch Project: workshops dedicated to launching a successful college journey

Do you ever feel like you have trouble balancing your stress? Struggle with deciding what decision to make or how to communicate with others? How about difficulty bouncing back from challenges? If so, these workshops are built for you!

 The Launch Project consists of six educational workshops dedicated to helping you grow as a person. This includes, strengthening your ability to tackle tough experiences in your life, building healthier relationships, and managing your stress more efficiently. 

 The Launch Project runs for six weeks- covering different topics each week. It takes place in four different locations on campus- all of which are open to any CMU student. You are welcome to come to as many sessions as desired and no pre-registration is required.

Weekly Topics

Week One: Text and Tinder: Communication and Relationships (Oct. 9 - 12)

Week Two:  Try. Fail. Grow.: Resiliency (Oct. 16 - 19)

Week Three: Lost and Found: Decision Making and Finding Direction (Oct. 23 - 26)

Week Four:  The Balance Beam: Boundary Setting (Oct. 30 - Nov. 2)

Week Five:  DIY Zen: Stress Management I  (Nov. 6 - 9)

Week Six:   Zen 2.0: Stress Management II (Nov. 13 - 16)
