Create, Store, Access, and Collaborate: CMU Solutions for All of your Electronic File Needs

Intended Audience: Faculty, Staff, and Teaching Assistants

Facilitators: Brian A. Roberts, Kole Taylor, and Zoe Deschaine

If you’re still saving files on a local or external hard drive, thumb drive, or other physical device, you’re doing it wrong. During this session, our facilitators will provide an overview and demonstration of a variety of network and cloud-based solutions available to CMU users. Let us help you choose the most accessible, secure, backed-up, and free or cost effective system that allows you to create, store, access, and collaborate with colleagues from virtually anywhere.

The interactive presentation portion of the session will be 45-60 minutes. Participants are welcome to stay and play with different options and ask specific questions until 12:00pm.

Each participant will have access to a desktop computer for the duration of the session, but you are also welcome to bring along your own laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
