This exhibitiion features a new body of work by Lesley Dill drawing on language, the written word, and the investigation of divinity and deviltry during the wildness of Early America. The long thin figures wear the strength pf the people they represent, American men and women from 1600-1900. Some of the American icons Dill explores include Emily Dickinson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Sojourner Truth, John Brown and Walt Whitman.
